Dr. Angelique Waite, founder and owner of RIBS, holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Creighton University and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Palmer College. Dr. Waite has been in practice since 2006 in Menlo Park. Dr. Waite not only treats the spine but also the extremities. She has treated the knees of professional cyclists, the hands of musicians, the backs of police officers, the shoulders of golfers, and the feet of marathon runners. Dr. Waite is Full Body Certified in Active Release Techniques® (ART®), a complete soft tissue injury management system. She is also certified in Graston Technique, an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Technique which incorporates patented tools to effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis and chronic inflammation. She is also certified in Fascial Movement Taping (ROCKTAPE), a movement based kinesiology taping technique, based on muscles acting as a chain. Dr. Waite has been an NSCA-certified Personal Trainer since 1999 and is currently pursuing a diplomat in Sports Chiropractic Rehabilitation.
Dr. Waite treats a variety of both professional and recreational athletes, with her philosophy and treatment approach stemming from her diverse personal and professional experience. She has a passion for sports, loves playing indoor soccer with her husband, and spent 15 years competing statewide in tap, ballet, and jazz. She has also participated in multiple marathons, half marathons, and 5 & 10k races.
Dr. Waite continues to give back to the community of Menlo Park by helping support “Kids 4 Sports” Family Fun Run, the Otter Run, and the Big Bear Run. She has also helped support and trained with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She has worked at the Ironman World Championships in Kona on the Medical Team and helped with the Crossfit Games. Dr. Waite with the rest of the staff at Revitalize Integrated Body Systems have worked as a team to help support the Relay for Life in Menlo Park.

Dr. Michael Valones is a primary health care professional that focuses on diagnosis, care and prevention of disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system, and the associated effects on the neurological system. He utilizes the most effective, evidence-based and up-to-date techniques including the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Graston Technique, Rocktape, Sacral-Occipital Technique (SOT), and chiropractic adjustments supplemented with specific exercise, stretching, and myofascial release techniques.
He attained his B.S. in Biochemistry from Drew University and Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Palmer College. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and began his career personal training with an emphasis on postural correction, and as a strength and conditioning coach for his college rugby team. Dr. Michael is also working to attain credentials as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). As an athlete who has competed in several sports including lacrosse, tennis, rugby, and Ultimate Frisbee, Dr. Michael learned early about the benefits of chiropractic care.
Outside of the office, he is fulfilling his other hobbies as a golfer, snowboarder, musician, martial artist, and outdoor enthusiast. He continues to work with many athletes and weekend-warriors around the Bay Area, often working as a field doctor for rugby tournaments, Ultimate Frisbee tournaments hosted by the Bay Area Disc Association, CrossFit competitions and other events in California.
His goal is to help people out of pain, rehabilitate their injuries, and get them back to the activities they love. Throughout the process, Dr. Michael hopes to educate patients of all ages and all lifestyles about their own personal health, and to help them reach new health goals they never thought possible!
Dr. Anja grew up in Europe. She graduated with Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in molecular genetics & cell biology from the University of Chicago. She moved to the Bay Area in 1999 where she helped discover treatments for heart disease, cancer, and chronic viral infections. She made a career change from biotechnology to wellness care, to apply her expertise to people in her community, personally affected by health conditions. Dr. Anja graduated from the doctorate program at Life Chiropractic College West as Valedictorian in 2018, where she received the ‘Clinical Excellence Award’ for outstanding achievements in radiology and patient care.
Dr. Anja serves families and athletes by promoting strength and flexibility to achieve wellness and a pain-free lifestyle. She led a very active life as a competitive athlete and later an avid participant of extreme sports: snowboarding, and whitewater rafting & kayaking. Along the way she’s overcome many injuries and pursued diverse recovery programs, which resulted in certifications as deep-water aqua fitness instructor and yoga teacher.
Through these experiences, Dr. Anja has learned that everything in the body is intricately connected & needs to be aligned to help it function best. She’s also discovered that you need your own customized care plan to achieve your personal physical goals. To serve you better, Dr. Anja uses a variety of chiropractic and soft tissue techniques best suited for your care – don’t hesitate to ask about any of them!
Today her happy place is when she’s swimming, cycling, in the yoga studio, or chasing after her 4-year old daughter.
