Nutrition & Health Coaching

A Health Coach is a mentor and guide who helps to facilitate each client’s journey towards becoming the individual’s healthiest and happiest self. To
do so, the Health Coach assists the client to get clear on his or her vision of wellness, set realistic goals along the way, and serve as an honest and encouraging accountability partner. Each Health Coach creates a safe, non-judgmental space for the client to discuss any facet of wellness
for which he or she may want some guidance, including but not limited to nutrition, fitness, sleep, stress management, social well-being, and spiritual fulfillment. Whether a client wants to lose weight, improve his or her sleep quality, eat healthier, or simply feel less stressed, a Health Coach is a reliable and welcoming source of guidance.



Health Coaches don’t prescribe or diagnose; rather, they assist the client to rely on internal strengths and external resources to determine the best
steps to take. Health Coaches provide meaningful advice and education when it feels important or necessary, but in general, Health Coaches believe in
their heart of hearts that clients are the experts on themselves and only need a little bit of help to uncover the answers. Just as Michelangelo said regarding his statue *David*, “Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it. I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” This is the attitude of Health Coaches as well; they see the potential in each and every client and only help to uncover it.
