Dr. Hannah Durbin graduated June 2018 from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose with the honor of being her Class Valedictorian and Clinic Excellence Award recipient.
Her growing experience and passion for chiropractic stem from her years in high school working at her parent’s chiropractic clinic in Weed, California. Her educational interest in human anatomy lead her to pursue a physiology degree at San Francisco State University. Dr. Durbin worked two years at Genentech in drug manufacturing before her decision to pursue a healthcare degree.
Dr. Durbin interned at a Veterans Hospital where she enjoyed working in a multi disciplinary setting with physical therapy while growing, treating, and managing her own patient base. While finishing her chiropractic degree, she worked at Elite Chiropractic and Sports Clinic with a team who focused on soft tissue techniques including Active Release Techniques®(ART®) and Graston. Dr. Durbin currently provides chiropractic treatment to baseball players, softball players, and gymnasts one day per week at a gym in Morgan Hill and collaborates with a strength and conditioning coach on best approaches to individualize training and triage client care.
Dr. Durbin has a diversified approach to chiropractic care and emphasizes the importance of soft tissue techniques to maximize the benefits of chiropractic adjustments. She works with patients of all ages and fitness levels. Her interest in treating athletes is a result from her early years training as a competitive gymnast. She is dedicated to providing patient education on sports-related injuries, health and wellness, work place ergonomics, and chronic pain and stress management. She encourages functional goals for care and understands the importance of treating every-BODY different.
In her spare time, Dr. Durbin enjoys hiking, swimming, vinyasa yoga classes and traveling with her husband and parents.
