At Revitalize Integrated Body Systems, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic care to each and every patient. We have included information below about the different chiropractic services offered in our Menlo Park chiropractic office, but please call us at 650-323-7427 if you have any questions!

Chiropractic Care

We provide spinal correction and chiropractic adjustments utilizing gentle chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic care have chiropractors been able to provide the level of help and expertise that is available today. Many of the newest chiropractic techniques are actually safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a chiropractor who cares about utilizing the most advanced chiropractic techniques, Dr. Angelique Waite has years of training, expertise and experience in helping patients get pain relief for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other related conditions originating from the spine. Chiropractic care under a trained professional can even be used to prevent injuries and help you achieve total health or wellness.

Active Release Technique is a soft tissue treatment method designed to break up scar tissue formation and restore proper function. Our Menlo Park Chiropractic office is one of only a few offices in the area to offer this form of therapy. Both of our doctors are certified in Active Release Technique (link) and have years of experience.

Active Release Technique is a hands on therapy designed to treat soft tissue injuries, such as problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Active Release Technique is extremely effective at treating both acute injuries as well as chronic ailments.

Pilates

Pilates is a versatile form of exercise, which works deeply into the muscle through concentration, breathing and controlled movement. Pilates based exercise is an alternate approach to total body conditioning. It helps to build strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine. The focus is on the core or "powerhouse" region of the body which includes the muscles of the abdominals and the lower back. Pilates is invaluable not only as a fitness endeavor, but also as an important adjunct to professional sports training and physical rehabilitation.

Corrective Exercises

At Revitalize Integrated Body Systems, we teach our patients how to perform special "blueprint" exercises which can help strengthen and correct the irregularities in their body which may be causing pain. Many of these corrective exercises can actually be performed in the comfort of your own home to help improve the effectiveness of your chiropractic care and spinal correction plan. In addition to skeletal misalignment, you may be experiencing pain that is caused by muscles and connective tissues which are out of their proper place. Other types of pain such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches are caused by muscles and tissues that are being used improperly, causing injuries over time. In each case, targeted corrective exercises and stretches from our experienced chiropractor will help you feel good while also helping your body achieve balance and health.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy does more than make you feel good, it can actually help your body achieve balance and health. Massage therapy offers a natural  treatment approach which actually relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our chiropractic office provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is complimentary to their chiropractic care. Each massage therapy plan is tailored to meet the patient's unique pain condition or injury. The benefits of massage therapy may include the increase of blood circulation, a localized reduction in swelling and the relaxation of muscles. Massage has been known to relieve muscle pain and spasms, increase a patient's range of motion, while also aiding in a patient's recovery. Some investigative studies have even indicated that a single session of massage may help boost your immune system!

Spinal & Postural Screenings

There is a saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Your spinal health is no exception. Posture and spinal screenings by a trained and experienced chiropractor such as Dr. Angelique Waite can help reveal important health information, unlocking the door to improved health and well-being. In order to help the Menlo Park community, we provide screenings at area malls, community events, health fairs and places of employment. Contact us today at 650-323-7427 to arrange a screening at your event or workplace.

ROCKTAPE

ROCKTAPE is the only Kinesiology tape engineered to meet the demands of endurance athletes like runners, swimmers and cyclists. Unlike other products, ROCKTAPE can be used both to apply compression to promote recovery, or decompression to relieve pain and swelling. Similar to the Kinesiology tape in the Olympics and that Lance Armstrong wrote about in "Every Second Counts", ROCKTAPE is used by professional and amateur athletes everywhere.

Graston Technique®

Graston Technique® is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.

Cold Laser Therapy

The continual use of the same frequency, as found in continuous wave lasers, can lead ultimately to the beginning of adaptation processes and treatment effect may be diminished. The MR4 is capable of creating unique and exclusive, patented “sweep” laser programs.

With each laser impulse of a Sweep Program, the “frequency” is changed, varying between end points of pre-selected frequencies. This changes the laser’s target depth of penetration, “scanning” the target tissue from superficial to deep, while preventing biological adaptation to the treatment.
